Laminating Workshop: Past, Present and Future of Laminated Glass Qualification

Recent changes to the Safety Glazing Certification Council laminated glass certification requirements will lead to an evolution in the nomenclature and shorthand used for describing and specifying laminated glass units. Join us on a journey to explore a brief history of laminated glass, interpret the new SGCC qualification requirements (including the shift to the metric system), participate in an inquiry session with access to SGCC experts, and gain a brief overview of common yet contemporary laminated glass applications and how they relate to safety glazing. Join us and have a beer with a laminating peer!  

The Workshop is limited to 50 participants; registration is complimentary, but required.

  • The meeting will take place in the Sweetgrass Inn.
  • Online reservations will place you in either the Sweetgrass Inn, Boardwalk Inn or Residences at Sweetgrass. All buildings are in close proximity and each equally beautiful. If you would like to request a particular building, please call 866-359-5593, Option 2 .
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival will lose their one-night deposit due at booking.
