Thank you to all who attended the recent Building Envelope Contractors (BEC) Conference 2025 in Las Vegas. Your participation made the event a tremendous success, and it was inspiring to experience the impactful solution-sharing, innovation, and community building together. The strength of our industry is rooted in the collaboration and dedication of its members, and events like the BEC Conference reaffirm the power of coming together.
Clear from the conversations and programming at the BEC Conference, and the NGA Glass Conference before that, is that we are navigating an uncertain economic landscape and construction market. Over the past year, many in our industry have felt the softening of commercial and residential construction, and concerns persist around inflation, interest rates, and broader economic conditions.
Additionally, the evolving trade and immigration policies of the new administration introduce new uncertainties for companies across our sector. While these challenges are real, we are confident in our ability to adapt and persevere.
History has shown that the glass, glazing and fenestration industry is resilient. We have successfully navigated economic downturns, a Great Recession, and a global pandemic. By continuing to work together, building consensus and sharing insights, we create new opportunities.
Thank you for engaging in your trade association. Together we shape the future of our industry.
Sincerely,

Nicole Harris, President and CEO
