NGA supports National Apprenticeship Week, Nov. 17-23, to recognize the important role that apprenticeship programs can play in building and maintaining a qualified, experienced workforce. Meeting current staffing needs and bringing in new tradespeople has been a challenge for the glass and glazing industry and apprenticeship programs are a proven way to meet these resource needs and ensure a qualified workforce well into the future.
Watch a video to see the value that apprenticeship programs offer. We thank NGA member companies Steel Encounters and AllStar Glass and the apprentice graduates for their participation.
What is the NGA Glazier Apprentice Curriculum?

Students who complete the curriculum will earn a jointly endorsed NGA/NCCER credential indicating a journeyman-level minimum competency reached through knowledge and performance. NGA is not an apprenticeship program provider or administrator.
